Featured Lawtina: Nataly Cadena
Congratulations on being sworn in, Nataly!
“My name is Nataly Cadena and I am the first Attorney in my Mexican-American family. My mother was born in Mexico and raised me by herself; instilling in me the power of hard work, grit, resilience, and determination. I graduated from DePaul University in 2018 and will be sworn into the Illinois Bar in a matter of days whereafter I will begin my career at Mirabile Law Firm as an Associate Immigration and Family Law Attorney.
My advice to my younger self and all of my fellow aspiring #Lawtinas would be this: You are capable, you are smart, you can do all things. It may seem cliche, but it matters. Belief and confidence in ourselves matters. Representation matters. I am honored to be able to show other young people of color that are thinking about entering or are already in the legal profession that we can do it, we are doing it, we are here and we are here to stay ✊
I want all of us to win. With that said, if anyone would like someone to talk to or a mentor I more than willing to help. Please, feel free to contact me!”
